Counter Strike: Global Offensive - The game that never dies.

Image
Every aspiring gamers and even the real old gamers from 90s share a common thing in the field of gaming. They all know about a game, Counter Strike. At some point of their life, they must have been introduced to this game by their relatives or friends and what astonishing to this point of era is that the game has not lost its fan base. Instead, every gamers try to learn this game in order to improve their game sense or their raw aim in any other games. Counter Strike was originally a mod game for a then well-known game called "half-life". The game was based on the concept of two different sided teams as "Terrorists" and "Counter-Terrorists" where the main motive of terrorist-sided or basically T-sided team was to plant the bomb/C4 in one of the sites of the map and the motive of the Counter-Terrorists or CT was to not allow the bomb plant. The game was 5 vs 5 and it was really fun. The game developed its later version starting from Counter Strike 1.0 all

Winter Over the Other Seasons

Image
Is it just me or people actually like winter more than the other seasons? Obviously, people's favorite starts with the spring season but I like to spend time in winter more than in any other season and here's why. Let's just skip the best of the best, the spring season as we cannot accept it any more to be the most favorable season. Let's begin with the Rainy/monsoon season. It is very calming to get some sleep during rainy afternoons and rainy nights. We get a different type of vibe during rainy season. It feels as if the nature is cleansing itself and the vibe just feels natural. We feel like our hearing senses are honed to maximum and it is actually true during the rainy days as the sound travels faster in moist air than in dry air and having tea during rainy season just feels exceptional. The main downside to this season is that we get allergies and even some infections if we spend most of our time in the rain. We get tired too fast as the chances of feeling aslee

Post-Class Reflection- The first day

I still remember the first English class and I thought about trying to make a post-class reflection about it even though it has been a long time. It is still crystal clear in my mind. I was unsure about how our teacher would be like and I was also very worried that there were going to be more online classes to be attended from that day onwards. With heavy heart, I clicked the invited link for the meet and there I see our teacher sitting casually and chatting with my friends. I felt like he was a chatty person and was way more social than any of our teachers. He was trying to make us familiar to the class and he was asking for the introductions of each and every students according to our roll number. After a while, we found out that he had tried to connect to our few students to maintain the routine of the class but unfortunately, he was not able to do so. Most of the students had their mobile switched off and he got Mission Shrestha, our fellow classmate to inform us about the Engl

Post-Class Reflection - Aug 14

Aug-14 This post-class reflection is being written after a long time and some ideas may be vague but I will try to include what I did on that day during our English class. It was Friday and we were up for the English class. There were going to be two presentations for the day and both belonged to literature. One of my closest friends was going to present about "The Stub Book" and the other presentation was about the text, "Adaptive Failure: Easter's End". We were eagerly waiting for the presentation and the class started after most of the students had joined the meet. The first presentation was about "Adaptive Failure: Easter's End" and to be honest I was not getting much of the text and I was scrolling the web to find a short summary about the text. I was partially understanding the text but at the same time I was left void at some situations during the presentation. I tried to cover that up with the summary I got after googling for a bit and I

Post-Class Reflection - Sept 02

Sept-02 I was having a rough day as the submission date for the engineering drawing was near and was busy drawing since the whole morning till the noon. I was just trying to get a short nap after I had my morning meal of the day but it was not going to happen as the English class was going to start within 30 minutes. I joined the meet and I found most of the students had already joined and our teacher was also there and he was asking who the presenters were for the day. There were two presentations in line and they were going to be presented by Mani and Jamyang combined and the next was going to be presented by Ayush. Our teacher put forward a question if some people really are Mr. Know All. I thought "Mr. Know All" was someone who corrects people immediately if they make any mistakes in a usual conversation. I had this vague idea and was unsure of it since I had heard "Mr. Know All" only once in a series "The Big Bang Theory" where a character, "S

The Most Hectic Day of my Life.

October 20, Time: 9:43PM I was not in the mood to write today but today's events made me write about the day. It was just another day like usual but a bit colder. The whole day just passed without me accomplishing anything and I was trying to catch up with my studies by trying to complete my blogs for my English subject. I was trying to remember the events that took place during the classes about a month ago and surprisingly it was not as vague as I expected. I was fluent with my typing and I was feeling good. I wrote the post-class reflections and I also wrote a short story/ essay of the assignment of Dashain. Practically, I was not too late since today, is actually the last day of Dashain and people even put on "tika" till Purnima and I was still writing my Dashain assignment while it was still Dashain. The day passed with me playing one of the oldest games, "Clash of Clans" and I was feeling great as I was making huge progress in the game. In the evenin

Bijay Shahi- The memory king?

Image
Bijay Shahi is a faker! I just watched a video where a man memorized a whole book and wrote some random pages of that book as asked by the interviewer. The way he expressed himself was laughable. Seriously, what is that sound he made while flipping through the pages? And the funniest part is that he has the interviewer pour down water for this, "memory king" to be able to flip through the pages faster. Anyone can guess that this is fake, but still this is going viral on media like its some sort of wildfire. I am trying to control myself but these uncertified YouTube journalists are going out of their way, trying to get popular with fake news. Now has come the situation where some people may think if these journalists actually are not trying to gain viewers by making some random guy do unrealistic tasks for them. Let's just hope that they are not. But it still brings us to some questions, "Are they out of their mind?" "Do these so called journalists know wha

Post-Class Reflection- Aug 26

Aug-26   Today, it was a bit different from other days as I was going to present the topic "Keeping Errors at Bay" with my colleague, Rajaram Karki. We were excited and enthusiastic and apart from all, I was a bit nervous too for it was going to be my first presentation in my whole life. I had prepared for it by jotting down few key points that I would focus during the presentation. The class started and there were three presentations in the line. Luckily, we had our presentation allocated at the final slot and we were able to be familiar with the tense environment. We had our teacher evaluate our works. First came by the presentation about "Travel Report" and the thing I found interesting was the idea of Q and A session during the presentation. It really tested the attention of the students. I found the writing process and purpose of travel reports fairly familiar. I don't know how but it was somehow a derived portion of different report writing with the key

Fourth Dimension and Beyond

Image
We live in a world of three dimensions. It means that the physical objects around us have a basic geometry that includes length, breadth/width and height. We have the ability to perceive the things around us in 3D. We can imagine a world in one dimension where the objects can only move in a straight line. We can also imagine a world in two dimension where the objects can move in two directions and within that plane. No surprise, we are also able to understand and imagine the world of three dimensions, the very 3D world we live in. Now the confusion here are "Is there the fourth dimension? Can a universe of n-dimensions where n is any arbitrary positive number be possible? What would a universe greater than three dimensions look like?" To answer these questions, let's dig into a basic world of one dimension where any object can move only in a straight line. The objects/organisms in that dimension will have no concept of existence of a plane or a 2D world and hence they
